This season’s Seoul Fashion Week, the 10 year anniversary of the Seoul Collections. Along with the regular Spring/Summer 2011 designer collections, a number of special events, celebrations and a fashion fair will be on display during those seven days. Seoul Fashion Week has established itself as the leading fashion event in Asia.

Their goal is to reach the ‘Globalization of Seoul Fashion’, ultimately become one of the World Fashion Capitals and leading force in the fashion industry. With over 130 designer brands participating in the event, the scale and impact of the Seoul Fashion Week continues to build its role as a major influence on the global market. The international fashion press for highlight exceptionally talented young Korean designers, showed nine brands during three days.

Overseas press and foreign buyers have increased in numbers and countries that are attending not only the fashion shows, but also events, such as the 10th anniversary celebration of Seoul Fashion Week, the foreign exchange program of the Parisian trade show Tranoï, world renowned guest fashion shows. Starting off with menswear on the first two days, with a more classical approach on the first and more  grade designs on the second day, Korean fashion demonstrates its strength in both men and women wear.
